Easter Bouquet
The birds are singing, the flowers are beginning to bloom, the grass is being mown. My senses are alive with delight. I hope that all of you have had a wonderful Easter vacation. I know that I did. It was fabulous having my family with me for a couple of weeks.
This month I've decided to share a painting that encapsulates this feeling of freshness, dew, and blooms of spring. I hope that you enjoy the painting, and more than anything I hope this blog lifts your spirits today and that you are inspired to breathe deeply of the fresh air, feel invigorated, and ready to embrace life with delight.
This morning I went for a walk thinking of you, my friends, and here are just a few of the beauties of nature that were popping out eager to refresh our senses.
Once again, my goal is to inspire you. With the fresh breath of spring upon us, it is a good time to be reinspired. There is no time quite like now to bring out those dusty brushes from the garret, wipe off the cobwebs from your paint tubes, pour out some cadmium yellow, cobalt blue, and rose madder, and throw yourself into the delight of seeing water and pigment swirl and seep into the pores of your own watercolor paper. Don't let anything hold you back. You can do it. Just pretend you are a child again and create for the pure pleasure of creation itself.
