Fog Bustors

Fog Bustors

This month I thought it would be fun to change it up a little bit and share with you a character study.  The character just happens to be my husband.  He invited me to share a misty morning with him at the field.

Vern belongs to a radio-controlled airplane club by the name of Fog Bustors.  This group of guys enjoy getting together and sharing their love of flying.  It's a wonderful way to make friends, get together with friends and pursue the hobby of flight without your feet leaving the ground.

Here's a link to their website, should you be interested in getting to know a little more about the club :  www.fortbraggfogbusters.com

It takes some devotion to get up at dawn's light and head out to an icy field to pursue this passion.

Sometimes it is hard to see in life. If the fog rolls in, we can’t see anything. Most people get so caught up in life that they forget the purpose of life is to be happy.

So on this particular morning, while we were waiting for all this excitement to begin, I shot some photos.  I was very attracted to the cloudy atmosphere and Vern's pose while he was programming his radio.

HERE IS MY INPIRATIONAL PHOTO OF MY HUSBAND PROGRAMMING HIS RADIO FOR THE DAY

I hope you've enjoyed a morning with the Fog Bustors.  It was so much fun to create this painting.  I think I was able to capture the essence of the scene.  Time to get out your paints and capture some of your favorite moments on canvas.  Let me know if there is any way I can help you to achieve that goal.
